Another of my dreams came true and I am glad to announce about the collaboration with the Wheelchair Community. I’m going to help with the dance choreography workshops for Miss Wheelchair Canada 2018. Couple of my students and I will be performing with the candidates at the final show. It is such a blessing. I am so happy and so excited about it.
The event is free. Please come, vote, enjoy and support!
With love, Lana

The “Roller Skating Fun” summer 2018 project has been created from our love and passion for roller skating. We skate in different styles, we dance, and we play various games on roller skates. We skate alone, with partners, and in groups. We skate slalom – around cones and doing other tricks. Roller skating keeps us creative, healthy and happy. Roller skating is like a rainbow in the sky – colorful and magical. Just try it! Lana and the skate crew.
Children choreography – Lana Shahar, Partner roller skating routine choreography – Lana Shahar & Mo Sanders.
We appreciate Mo Sanders greatly for his cooperation in the production of this project.
We are forever grateful for all your help and love:

We continue skate classes during the summer though all advanced students from the performance group (Silver owls) are having skills tests in June. Everyone will be tested in 20 movements. For the stage performances they need to have no less than 80 points for each movement performed. Here Owl Dasha is showing one of the artistic sets and spins that Owls have learned.
Roller Dance Owl students are excited to participate in the Vancouver International Fashion Show by David Chen at Ipop and Nikkopro.com . We had a great day at the fashion show audition & rehearsal at Pacific Gateway Hotel, Airport Richmond BC last weekend. Come and enjoy the show on April 14, at 7 pm. TICKETS available: here.
It was so exciting when one of the foreign producers contacted me and invited us to participate in Commercial Shoot with my students. Not everyone can skate hard – the Roller dance Owls can! On Tuesday, March 13th we had a Shoot and skated non stop for 5 hours. The kids were so tired, but did their best! Good job everyone! I am so proud and so happy for my Roller Owls. They had a great experience and they got their first pay cheque. I am so grateful to my students and their parents for their trust and belief in me, for being part of RDO.
Get ready! Our roller adventure is going to be fascinating!

Roller Dance Owl students had an audition for a 🎥Commercial a week ago. I am so happy and so proud of them! My 8 students (6 kids and 2 adults) are going to a shoot in the Commercial. Yes, life is better on roller skates!
PS. ✅We have a shooting on Tuesday, March 13, so we have no classes on that day.
