Roller Dance Owl Halftime Show at Bellingham Roller Betties Season 12, Bout 3 (Washington State, US)

I would like to thank all participants for the great job during our roller dance tour in US on May 18-19. On Saturday, May 18th we had Halftime Show performance at Roller Betties Season 12, Bout 3 at Whatcom Community College, Bellingham Washington state. Owls got incredible experience. Thanks to Michael, Chloe, Noa, Mia & Naomi. You guys did a fantastic job!
We’d like to thank rhythm skater Chad Driesbach from Seattle for his time and partnership in this project. 
 
Thanks to our baby Owl Mannat and her family for coming to Bellingham for supporting Roller Dance Owl performance team on Saturday.

Roller Dance Owl Show Part 1 – Beginner Adult Group performance – Vancouver Fashion Festival, Fall 2018

We are happy to be a part of the Vancouver Fashion Festival, producer David Chen www.nikkropro.com. Here is something sweet from our last performance with my beautiful and brave Roller Dance Owl adults students/ roller moms Juliet , Andrea and Regina at the Vancouver Fashion Festival (producer David Chen ) at Pacific Gateway Hotel at Vancouver Airport on Oct. 20, 2018.
In our roller dance choreography I combined some of basic movements that my students learned during last 6 months: ability control roller skates – turns, stops and simple march/ walk (with more practice transferring to Moon walk in the future), coordination of arms and legs in walking and rolling, skating Zigzag, Downtown, Spins.

Wheelchair & Roller Dance Owl performance – Miss Wheelchair Canada 2018

Some of my friends say that sometimes I have weird dreams. Roller dance with wheelchair community was one of my latest dreams. Can you imagine how exciting it was when one day the organizers of Miss Wheelchair Canada 2018 contacted me and asked me to help with dance workshops and performance at the Gala show for the event. It was a blessing. It was an amazing experience. Everyone in our wheelchair-roller dance group had different physical abilities though we had the same passion for Life and Dance, everyone – on his own wheels! That’s why we had only 2 evenings for practices but we did our best and had great time together during our workshops and on the stage.

Here is a video of us. Wheelchair & Roller Dance Owl performance at the Gala show of the Miss Wheelchair Canada 2018 on August 25th, 2018 with my lovely three Roller Owls & with beautiful candidates from Toronto, Edmonton, Vancouver and other areas.

Roller Dance Owl with Daya – Sit Still Look Pretty and guest Mo Sanders

The “Roller Skating Fun” summer 2018 project has been created from our love and passion for roller skating. We skate in different styles, we dance, and we play various games on roller skates. We skate alone, with partners, and in groups. We skate slalom – around cones and doing other tricks.
Roller skating keeps us creative, healthy and happy. Roller skating is like a rainbow in the sky – colorful and magical. Just try it!

Silver owls (Performance group) are having skills tests in June

We continue skate classes during the summer though all advanced students from the performance group (Silver owls) are having skills tests in June. Everyone will be tested in 20 movements. For the stage performances they need to have no less than 80 points for each movement performed. Here Owl Dasha is showing one of the artistic sets and spins that Owls have learned.
