Roller Dance Owls were honoured to participate in Rise Up session at 7 Gen Skate Skateboarding contest at Langley Events Centre on Saturday, June 10, 2022. It was an amazing day meeting Owls with the skate legends, top freestyle skateboarders from across North America, and friendly crew at Seven Generations Cup.

Summer 2021 Schedule. June 1st – July 31st, 2021
Tuesdays: 5:30pm – 6:00pm Ages 3-8, $15 per one lesson.
6:00pm – 7pm Ages 9-14, $25 per one lesson/ or $20 per lesson with monthly payments (usually 4 tickets or 5 for months with 5 weeks).
7pm – 8 pm – Ages 15+ $25 per one lesson/ or $20 per lesson with monthly payments (usually 4 tickets or 5 for months with 5 weeks).
SKATE CAMP with games & snacks:
AUG 2, 9, 16: 5:30PM – 7 PM: All ages. One session: $25, 3 sessions $60 ($20 each).
BREAK: Aug 23 – 31. We resume our lessons: September 7th, 2021.
We practice new steps and movements during Spring skate season. On breaks we have fun. Parachute is one of our favourite games. It’s all good in the Owl hood. We stay active and positive! Our Covid19 project “Angels on Wheels” which the reporter Nono Shen noticed in the article had a big attention of locals and on internet. I’d like to feature my most dedicated students: Mia8 , Emi1 and NaeNae (my daughter). With these kids we performed together in the United States, Canada, participated in “Waiters on Roller skates” at Ofra’s Kitchen Restaurant and many others. They learned how act on camera, how to dance in different styles, they got so much confidence and many skills. I am so grateful to have these kids on my Team. I am so grateful that their parents trust me as a coach and for taking our lessons seriously. God Bless you dear roller parents and students of Roller Dance Owl skate family.

In my film, I want to show my life as a coach and how I spent my Saturday, July 25, 2020 roller skating with my daughter and students, socially distanced but still together, physically and emotionally. July 25th is the birthday of my beloved late grandma Anna. That’s why on this day, I smile and cry. Being a single mother and Latvian-Israeli immigrant in Canada and working full time job, I also have my small business on the side and develop skate culture in Vancouver BC. My passion and dedication for roller skating makes me strong and happy.
