Skate Like A Roller Disco Star – FOR ADULTS – NEW PROGRAM FROM JULY 2020

Enjoy our new program “Skate Like A Roller Disco Star” (launching July 2020/ Indoor classes) created by Roller Dance Owl founder, coach and choreographer Lana Shahar. Learn (with social distancing) skate movements and use them in the dance. Enjoy different music and different dance styles!

After you purchase this service, we will be in touch soon to confirm the date and time of your session. You can pay monthly and reserve your spot constantly.

Our studio is located in Richmond BC: 8280 Gilbert Rd. (Richmond Community Church/ Salvation Army).

Every “Skate Like A Roller Disco Star” indoor session you will try to roller skate & dance with different songs and learn a new dance routine.
Bring with you a bottle of water.
Wear comfy clothes, helmet (*It’s Canadian Law), protective gear for wrists, elbows and knees.
You can contact Lana in English, Russian, Hebrew.

With Lana’s unique program students learn different styles: Roller Skate Fundamentals, Roller Dance, Roller Skate Dance, Tricks and Dance using cones – Slalom, Artistic Roller Skating, Jam Skating and Hula Hoops of course.

(Rental skates: additional $10 you will need to pay in the class).

Dear students! We are open from June 9th with limit 6 people in a class and social distancing rules.Roller Skate and Dance Lessons for All Ages and Levels!

Tuesdays:
Option 1. 5:30pm – 6:30pm: $25 per person ($20 for Team members). Rental skates $10 per lesson.
Option 2. 6:30pm – 7:30pm: $25 per person ($20 for Team members). Rental skates $10 per lesson.

If you’d like to reserve your spot for June lessons please Etransfer 25×3 (or 20×3 if you’re a Team member) for three lessons.

Learn in a small space, at your home or garage and use your skills outdoors!

Bring with you: water, hula hoop (or a book), slalom cones (or paper cups, sticky notes).
I host from my Roller Dance Owl Home Studio on roller skates. You can wear socks or skates (then wear helmet and protection for wrists, elbows and knees), and do it from any small space (9-10ft/ 3 m) in your house or garage (with no corners around for your safety).

Download Zoom (it’s free), make Video and Audio ON in your settings, have stable Internet connection. If I can see you, I can correct your movements.

New Year Eve Performance with singer Nic De Souza at Royal Palace Hall, Burnaby BC

Roller Dance Owls Mia 8 and Naenae, coach Lana Shahar and singer Nic De Souza were performing on New Year Eve 2020 at Royal Palace Banquet Hall in Burnaby BC. It was an amazing experience and magical celebration with company of 300 guests.

Rolling in Richmond BC into 2020 with the great news!

All kids can skate and dance With OR No commitment:

Option 1)
Try-outs into the “Reaching the Stars” Roller Dance Project by Roller Dance Owl Productions. This class for students who wants to continue take classes with commitment for the year [interested to be a part of the Team, participate in stage performances, etc).
* Monthly price for 2 hours class is $95 (after tax).
* These students need to pay not refundable $95 which goes for December 2020 payment and yearly insurance for you child.

They are just regular kids, who play and do their homework. At night, however, they transform into a pack of baby owls and fly around together, gliding on roller skates like only they can do. They perform on prestigious stages in Vancouver and the United States, are featured in videos, commercials and basically act like Fashion Roller Models; they take part in joint shows with the wheelchair and other societies in our community. That’s how regular kids become so special when it comes to roller skating together, and soon more people around us are going to find out about them. To achieve all this, they try really hard, because they dream about reaching the stars. Join us, and let’s make it happen together.

No commitment for the year (with the option to be a Team member in the future). All levels are welcome to try out.
* Class of 40 min, (5:30pm – 6:10pm), $65 per month.
Additional $10 for months with 5 weeks.
